Corporate Giving

Business gifting is now an acceptable and even anticipated practice today. Gifts can be used to build stronger relationships with your current clients, potential clients and also a great way to thank employees and vendors. Below are good tips for corporate giving.

Give useful gifts - Classic gifts never go out of style. Edible items are signature gifts and are always appreciated by their recipient. The great perk with giving food gifts is that your name or company name will be mentioned every time the items are shared around the office or in their homes.

Make the gift last long after the items are gone - Make sure that you incorporate reusable containers to hold your gift items. Containers like leather magazine holders, or wooden wine boxes are much better than you typical wicker basket.

Small but meaningful - Cut backs don't have to affect your corporate giving. This is the time to recapture that old saying..."something is better than nothing." The gift you give does not have to be extravagant, a coffee mug with a great coffee or tea blend, with a caramel or hazelnut dipping spoon can be just the right touch. Adding a hand written message with the gift may take a little more time but it means much more to the recipient.

Anything that your company can do for your vendors, customers, and employees brings your company in a good light and also builds trust. This reward will pay off for your company long after the gift is gone.

Haiti

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Haiti, as they begin to recover from the worst earthquake to hit their land in over 200 years.  Thousands of men, women, and children have lost their lives - children have lost their parents, parents have lost their children, and whole families have been wiped away.

Please find it in your heart to give to the support efforts to help those in Haiti.  There are many great, trust-worthy organizations that are helping the people of Haiti get through these tough times - give today.
