I don't believe there is anything more exciting then moving into a new home. I remember the first time I stepped foot into our new home - I was overwhelmed with so many emotions. I also was disappointed that my realtor did not think enough of us to get us a gift!
Welcome home or house warming gifts should be things that will make their first couple of days easier or something to help them treasure those first couple of days.
Just as exciting as moving into a new home could be, on the other end it can be exhausting and very stressful, so your gift should be a something that will be relaxing as well.
