Taking Time for You

Taking time for yourself can sometimes be the hardest thing to do. With so many things pulling us in so many different directions, it's hard to find a good time to just relax and take care of ourselves...right? Making "self" a priority can feel almost selfish, however it's the most important thing that we can do for ourselves and others we know.

Owning my own gift company, I have learned to become very selective about what gourmet foods and spa items I place in our gifts. I sample every truffle (yummy) and also every spa item I choose. Doing this, especially with the spa items, has taught me to enjoy my "me" time - even if I am still "technically" working.

Grandparents Day - September 12th

For all of you are are still fortunate enough to have your grandparents in your life, please be sure to tell them how much you appreciate and love them.
Grandparents brings such a joy into our lives, they bring a different perspective on life, sharing stories of old - giving us a glimpse into how things used to be (the good ole days).

Giving your grandparents a gift they will appreciate will not only make them happy, but you as well.  When selecting a gift basket or gift, make sure the gift has items that they can eat or use; keeping in mind of any health concerns and/or disabilities that could prohibit them from enjoying their gift.

Corporate Giving

Business gifting is now an acceptable and even anticipated practice today. Gifts can be used to build stronger relationships with your current clients, potential clients and also a great way to thank employees and vendors. Below are good tips for corporate giving.

Haiti

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Haiti, as they begin to recover from the worst earthquake to hit their land in over 200 years.  Thousands of men, women, and children have lost their lives - children have lost their parents, parents have lost their children, and whole families have been wiped away.

Super Bowl 2010 - February 7, 2010

On Sunday February 7th. homes and venues will be filled with die-hard fans as they watch their favorite team compete for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Super Bowl Sunday is so popular that it is known as a de facto American national holiday. Along with the great performers during the half-time ceremonies, and the widely anticipated commercials, food - is just as much a headliner. Except for Thanksgiving, Super Bowl Sunday is considered the second largest U.S. food consumption day.
